The cause of teenager Nora Quoirin's death is still a mystery after a post-mortem examination proved inconclusive today and will continue tomorrow, police have revealed. The year-old's naked remains were discovered by hikers yesterday near an isolated jungle waterfall in Malaysia nine days after she vanished from the resort where she was staying. The initial post-mortem results will give no comfort to Nora's parents who are desperate for answers over their beloved daughter's death, amid claims she could have been abducted and her body dumped later. Parents Meabh, 45, and Sebastien, 47, identified the body as that of their missing eldest daughter and later paid an emotional tribute. Four pathologists have been working on the examination of her body but are yet to determine her cause of death. A lawyer representing the family in France told French newspaper Le Parisien that the parents filed a complaint "for kidnapping" and were convinced Nora's disappearance was of "criminal" origin.

A serial sex offender has been branded an "evil predator" after targeting young boys in Grimsby and asking them to send him naked pictures of themselves. James Utting, 36, pretended to be a teenage girl in "cruel" deceptions by setting up false social media profiles using a picture of a year-old girl. He became "addicted" to tricking hundreds of other boys across a wide area of the country, including Grimsby, for his perverted online fantasies, a court heard. Matthew Lawson, prosecuting, told Winchester Crown Court that Utting created false social media profiles using an image of a year-old girl.
